This is a nice old collection of Chinese verse translated into English verse called Gems of Chinese Verse, copyright 1925, fourth edition, hard cover, no dust jacket, written by W. J. B. Fletcher, with a preface by H. L. Hargrove. The book has previous owners names and inscription on inside front cover and first end page, light soiling on first end page, some ink underlining, otherwise in good condition with tight binding, nice gilt lettering on the front cover and 242 pages. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
