The book gives brief summaries of 12 different polar expeditions with supporting images and maps. The most interesting are tipped-in commemorative stamp blocks from different countries. The stamps often show portraits of the explorers and images of the ships used on the expeditions. Overall, a beautifully designed book. Although there is no limitation, it must have been produced in limited number due to the handmade nature of the book. Seems very scarce.
