Softcover. Condition: Fine. Eric Ravilious (illustrator). Limited Edition. Limited Edition. PP.8. Booklet of 120 copies of the Eric Ravilious wood-engraved design for the Curwen Press News Letter 6, printed by Simon Lawrence. The frontispiece is printed from the Curwen electrotype, together with an original wood engraving printed from the block on Basingwerk Parchment, which is contained in a corner pocket. The dramatic marbled paper wrapper ' FIREWORKS' is by Jemma Lewis. All in fine original condition.

ONE OF 750 COPIES printed in double-column, 170 plates, mainly of Ravilious' work during the period indicated, the great majority colourprinted, together with reproductions of photographs and drawings, pp. 285, oblong folio, original pale blue cloth, backstrip lettered in gilt, printed label inlaid to front cover, boards bowing ever so slightly, original prospectus laid in, near fine.
