Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Slipcase. 1st Edition. Limited to 2000 copies printed. This book is copy number 1234. Copy right page states "First Edition". SIGNED by all three men involved in this publication - Seamus Heaney, Henry Pearson and Thomas Flanagan. Boards are covered by dark brown top grain…aniline leather. Front cover embossed with a near full page illustration. Title on spine stamped in gold, is clearly visible albeit dulled due to sunning on spine. Light wear at top & bottom of spine. See pictures. Book is illustrated by Henry Pearson, with original relief engravings that were adapted from prehistoric carvings found a few miles north of Dublin. Interior pages clean, bright and binding tight. NO writing from previous owners, NO tears or folds on interior pages. The top has been gilded and the side and bottom edges have been left untrimmed. Books approximate size is a tall 7.75" by 12.25" . Over sized book may require extra postage. This book has it's original slipcase. Slipcase is fully intact but brown paper covers are rubbed and with some surface soiling and wear along corners. Gilded title on spine of slipcase bright and visible. Includes "original The Monthly Letter of The Limited Editions Club" and a separate page describing 'Care of this Edition'. Note: We use "Fine" book condition judiciously; only when the book exhibits no flaws. A Fine book closely approaches 'As New' condition and may not have been previously owned. Any flaws (writing, tears, creases) are exceptions to a Fine condition and should be clearly described for a book and dust jacket. Pearson, Henry (illustrator). Signed by all authors.
