Red faux-leather covered boards with gilt lettering to spine, in a red dustjacket printed with grey and black. Light sunning and soil to spine of jacket, with light chipping to ends of spine. Some rubbing and light soil to other panels of jacket, with a few small nicks and a small 3 mm chip missing from head of rear panel. Some bumping and a 10 mm closed tear to bottom corner of front panel. Jacket is now protected in a mylar cover. Some bumping to spine ends and bottom corner of front board of book. Light age toning to interior, with small stain to fore-edge of front free endpaper, half-title, and title pages. Stamped as a surplus copy from the Library of Congress on front free endpaper.
