Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Large quarto in original red cloth. Large fold out panorama of arsenal plus 14 plates (13 folding). Bookplate "Compliments of Hon. T. J. Henderson" (Illinois congressman and civil war general). Ink spots to the cover and a ink splotch in the top margin of the last 2 plates.Bottom edge of last plate foxed. End pages lightly foxed. Two 1/2" closed tears to the edge of the title pages otherwise very good.

Full-Leather, W/the full fold out frontispiece pictorial and all rear fold outs, soil/wear, interior hinges cracked front and rear, edges show heavy wear but not worn through, most of color remains and the gilding is about 90%, F board cloth shows excessive moisture spotting under ordnance seal, marbled EP's present however the FEP is half split at hinge, FFEP has an eraser size hole where someone removed a label. This RARE volume is from my personal collection and was obtained many years ago at an estate auction near Rock Island. This is the best of these volumes I have ever seen. Will not fit in USPS Flat Rate Priority envelope and must go variable rate depending on destination and mode of shipment Size: 4to Size: Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. Book.
