    Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. A series of interviews with William G. Reed, done by Elwood R. Maunder and Charles Buchwalter. The interviews provide a history of this important forest services company and the family behind it; the company was founded in 1890 in Shelton, Washington as a logging company. The company has gone through a number of iterations and with interests in other locations, including California, Oregon and abroad. Headquarters are now based in Seattle, company (now Simpson Investment Company) is owned by the Reed family, and involved in forest products manufacturing. With vintage photographic illustrations and portraits. Hardcover, gilt titles, 8.5x11 inches. Very good plus condition. Scarce.
