Pp.130, engraved portrait of the author + 4 further engraved plates, 2 black & white photographs(including double-page photo 'Richmond, 19th July 1882) + folding facsimile summons for Lodge of Prosperity No.78. Gift message: "W.Bro. R.M.Vick with fraternal greetings from J.B.Ferry Lodge of Prosperity No.65" and previous owner's label to front free endpaper, slight toning to endpapers. Blue cloth, edges rubbed, no title to front or spine. Scarce early copy. G+.
