Very Good++. Robert Ferguson (1799-1865) was an English physician, born in India. He studied medicine at the universities of Heidelberg and Edinburgh where he received an M.D. in 1825. He settled in London and started a large lucrative practice and became physician to the general lying-in hospital, professor of midwifery at Kings College, and physician-accoucheur to King's College hospital. He also became physician extraordinary to the queen. His most notable publications are an essay on Puerperal Fever and an edition of Gooch's works.---DW---.…
