Soft cover. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Inscribed by Author(s)300 pages (complete). Harry Wiggett is a much loved former priest in Cape Town. He was vicar at Kloof Nek and Fish Hoek amongst other parishes. He was also pastor to prisoners on Robben Island (including Nelson Mandela and other ANC leaders) and at Pollsmoor Prison (again to Mandela). In retirement he continues to inspire and spread is cheerfulness and good humour and wisdom at a Hout Bay addiction centre. He is very proud of his poems which have won the approval of Desmond Tutu and of Mandela. Wiggett signed and inscribed this copy on the frontispage. The cover is marked and worn from happy handling. The spine, although creased, is secure and sure. Inside, there is evidence of contented readership. The pages are clean, clear, genial, generous and bright. fk.
