From Lew David Feldman's 'NOTE' page: "This catalogue is devoted to the celebration of a book. It is now Forty Years since I sold my first book (see frontispiece). 'The Shaw-Morley Nine Answers' opened the door to what was to be the major activity of my life. The door led to a road that had many turns, but always beckoning me onward were the opportunities for acquisition and sale of a number of the world's great books and manuscripts. In order to accomplish this there were of necessity friends in all directions: the friends from whom you bought the books and manuscripts and of course again, friends to whom they were sold. The following pages will detail a number of our current offerings which are indicative of the importance, beauty and desireability of the chosen treasures that brighten my life now and will continue to do so, I hope, for years to come. I therefore dedicate this catalogue with all the hopes that it is sent forth, to: The Friends of Forty Years." ILLUSTRATED in full page, full color and black & white photographic reproduction of the book and manuscript art with accompanying descriptive captions. Green cloth boards with gold gilt lettering on the front cover and spine. GK3.…
