Each vol 2nd panel with: "TOMBLESONs VIEWS OF THE RHINE". 4th panels with: "FIRST SERIES" or "SECOND SERIES". Neither with a half tp and a single engraved tp. Series 1 tp lists Fearnside as editor, series 2 with no mention of his name. Vol 1 map an unusual format in that it unfolds vertically. Edges & extrems lightly worn. No aging or marginalia. Plate margins of first & last dozen or so of each vol moderately foxed. Interior plates mostly uneffected. All text foxing free. Vol 1 map with one incorrect fold line.
