Blattgröße: 390 x 310 mm. *Fearnley war ein erfolgreicher norwegischer Maler, er übersiedelte 1832 bis 1838 nach München und starb unerwartet jung bei einem neuerlichen Aufenthalt in München an einem Nervenfieber. - Der Lithograph Franz Seraph Hanfstaengl (1804-1877) war ei…n deutscher Maler, Lithograf und Fotograf. Er studierte 1819-25 an der Akademie der Bildenden Künste in München und wurde in Lithographie ausgebildet. Als Porträtlithograf der Münchner Gesellschaft erfreute sich Hanfstaengl großer Beliebtheit, was ihm den Spitznamen Graf Litho eintrug. 1833 gründete er in München die berühmt gewordene lithografische Anstalt Hanfstaengl, die er selbst bis 1868 leitete. - Gebhardt, Werkverzeichnis S. 248.
