Jimmy Berg was born in 1909 and died in 1988. He was an Austrian refugee, which may be a source of his connection with Baron Walter Langer von Langendorff of Evyan Perfumes, Inc. Fred Fassler may be most famous for his music for Me And My Dachshund. This was originally written in German, so he may also have been a refugee with connections to Evyan Perfumes or its owners. Evyan is an old Perfume house that was founded by Baron Walter Langer von Langendorff, an Austrian born Chemist. The New York based fragrance house launched its first perfume, White Shoulders, in 1945. This Waltz was apparently commissioned by Evyan Perfumes in connection with The Great Lady Ball of 1961 that Baron and Baroness Walter Langer von Langendorff sponsored.
