This 172 page biography covers the life of Walter Heuer who was born in Braunschweig, Germany in 1919. He emigrated to Canada in 1952. About 1962 Walter could begin to live, at least in part, with his feminine identity. B/W photographs (sepia) amplify text. Cond : White paper wrapper with black script titling. Watercolour graphic on cover seems to imply transformation. Tight, bright, square and clean. 2008 gift inscription on title page. Excellent reading copy.
