This work, originally published in 1795, emphasizes sturdy foundations, safe dam design, and reliable mill structures, along with detailed descriptions of improvements for elevating grain, conveying it through machines, and grinding into meal and flour. Foreword by Eugene S. Ferguson. Brown cloth boards, gilt titles and red title blocks. B/w illustrations, some folding. Third printing. Small red ink smudge to lower edge of front of dustwrapper else a lovely, clean copy. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!
