A FIRST EDITION, First printing in this format (First, thus) from 1904, this small quarto (7.25" x 9.5") has matte black cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering to spine (completely faded) & colorful front pastedown. Condition is Near Fine: exceptionally clean & bright, binding straight & strong, pages off-white with a shadow of age-appropriate tanning around edges, else unmarked. Former owner's bookplate inside front cover & address label on ffep; minor rubbing to extremities & slightly bumped corners. NO DJ.
