Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Here for your consideration is a scarce book of poetry by an author who at least as concerns the Internet did not leave many traces. I am pleased to offer: Petals of Song by Etta Josephean Murfey with illustrations (linoleum cuts) by Leander Leitner. This small hard cover book ( 5 ? x 8 ? inches 88 pages) was published by the Gayren Press of Paterson New Jersey dated 1937 with no mention of edition. The book is bound in light blue boards with gilt titles on the cover and is warmly inscribed by the Author to the former owner. There is a 4-page Foreword by Robert L. Dark Jr. Condition: This book is in near fine condition. The book is almost without any sign of wear or tear. The hard covers are clean and bright and so too the gilt titles. There is some faint bumping to corners and spine tips. Inside the only mark I found is the Author s ample inscription on the front endpaper. The interior pages are bright and clean and without toning or foxing. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.…
