Seller: CHARLES BOSSOM, Ely, CAMBS, United Kingdom
Card Cover. Condition: Good. 128 pages clean and tight. This book on cooking by electricity supersedes the one which was first published in 1931. It has been brought up-to-date to meet the present short supply of food, and where the recipes appear to be extravagant, judged by present day standards, alternative austerity recipes are given wherever possible. Economy of fuel is carefully considered and the directions for i8 meals cooked entirely on the griller boiler and in the oven should be followed; variations of these meals may easily be made by the user. Temperatures throughout the book are approximate and the user is advised to write against the recipe the temperature which she finds most suitable. Reference to the instruction ? card supplied by all manufacturers of cookers for thermometers and thermostats is strongly recommended. ESTER PURVIS. November, 1947. Size: 12mo.
