Leather. Condition: Good. 2nd Edition. Several poems and an essay, mainly in early editions by Pope and Gay, , bound as one (rebound in modern leather and cloth binding by Maltby of Oxford). Octavo hardback Rape of the Lock (Pope) is fifth edition 1718; Key to the Lock third edition 1718; Essay on Criticism sixth edition 1719; Ode for Musick third edition 1719; Shepherds Week (Gay) Second edition corrected 1719 viii + 54 pp. + 32 pp. + 48 pp. + 14 pp. + xiv + 60 pp + 4 pp index. All the copper engraved plates are present. Binding is virtually as new. Contents are good except that a corner has been torn from the title page of The Shepherd's Week and professionally repaired by the recent binder.
