Originale Künstlergrafik, von Ernst Polykarp von Leyser. Unikat. 14,5 x 18,5 cm (Darstellung), 23 x 28 cm (Blatt).Papier stärker knickspurig. Verso Montagereste. Insgesamt mäßig guter Zustand.Ernst Polykarp von Leyser (1792/1793 Dresden - nach 1862 Dresden). Eigentlich Ernst Polykarp Baron von Leyser. Deutscher Maler, Aquarellmaler, Radierer und Lithograf. Außerdem Rittmeister aus der sächsischen Linie der Adelsfamilie Leyser und Oberleutnant der Sächsischen Armee. Wohl Autodidakt. Von ihm sind Zeichnungen, Aquarelle sowie Vorlagen für Lithografien bekannt, darunter Reiterstücke, Bildnisse und Genreszenen. Ab 1819 Porträtzeichnung von Dresdner Bühnenkünstlern, wie Friedrich Hellwig als Ritter Blaubart oder Julie Zucker als Pamina, die Christian Ernst Stölzel für Heinrich Rittners Kunsthanldung in Kupfer stach. Werke befinden sich unter anderem im Kupferstichkabinett Dresden (Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden). Nicht signiert. Verso in Bleistift alt bezeichnet: E.P. v. Leyser. Zwei Sammlerstempel.
