This is a handsome, well-preserved copy of this scarce, signed limited edition. Walter Satterthwait (1946-2020) was a U.S. crime novelist. Satterthwait became well-traveled as he took on varying jobs. His experiences around the globe inspired and faciliated his crime and detectiuve stories that were set in far away places like Kenya, Germany, France, and New Mexico. "The Gold of Mayani" is a short story collection following a detective named John Mayani. Ernest Franklin (illustrator).
