This copy is bound in publisher's original green cloth covered boards with black embossed decoration to the front and the spine and gilt titling to the spine and the front board. There is a colour plate let into the front of a pirate with a chest of treasure. A dustwrapper is not called for. The illustrations and text block are fine, clean and bright. Stirring tales of derring do were the fare of these inter-war annuals, pirates, explorers, cowboys and sporting heroes. Ref S2.
