There is a colour plate let into the front of a pirate with a chest of treasure. A dustwrapper is not called for. The illustrations and text block are fine, clean and bright. Stirring tales of derring do were the fare of these inter-war annuals, pirates, explorers, cowboys and sporting heroes. Ref S2.
