Gesamthaft recht gutes Exemplar. - Heinrich Christian Ferdinand genannt Henny [HBLS: Henni] Ammann (1855-1902), aus der Linie der Zürcher Ammann (vereinzelt auch Aman oder Amann), von Thalwil, Kaufmann in Bordeaux, seit 1889 wohnhaft in Kreuzlingen, wo er die Entdeckungen Röntgens und Doumers erprobte und für praktische Zwecke nutzbar machte. Er war der Bruder von August Julius Ferdinand Ammann (1850-1924), dem Besitzer der Seeburg in Kreuzlingen und Herausgeber der monumentalen Geschichte der Familie Ammann von Zürich. Über seine Schwester Molly war er verschwägert mit Georg Gottfried Volkart (1850-1928), der 1907 das Schloss von den Ammanns übernahm und es dann an seine drei Töchter vererbte. (Vgl. HBLS u.
