Cumhuriyet doneminde Anadolu'yu insa edenler ise aydinlanma devriminin degerleriyle yogrulmus; yuksekogrenimlerini 20'li yillarda Muhendis Mekteb-i Alisi'nde, 1929 sonrasinda Istanbul Teknik Universitesi'nde yapmis; vatansever, birikimli ve mesleginde tutkulu Turk muhendisleridir. 1952'de Turkiye Muteahhitler Birligi'ni kuranlar yine onlar olmuslardir. Muteahhitlerimiz 1970'li yillarin basindan bu yana sadece Turkiye'yi degil, dunyanin dort kitasindaki onlarca ulkeyi insa ediyorlar.
