Dust Jacket Condition: N/A. lxxxi, 680pp. Bound in limp leather with gilt titles, coloured endpapers, all edges coloured (boards heavily worn, rubbed and rounded at edges, small white mark on verso; endpapers scuffed, warped, chipped at edges, previous owner's name on front free endpaper, previous own…er's names on endpaper recto, plus several newspaper cuttings with devotional messages pasted in on endpapers, gutter strained between front endpapers and half title page, first couple of pages chipped at edges, and a few pages towards rear have corner creases. This has been a handsome volume, beautiful made and bound and is still perfectly readable and usable. Firmly bound and holding. A collection of songs, hymns, tunes etc with musical directions, all in the Welsh Language. We love the patina of this volume.

With a frontispiece reprod…uction of a woodcut of Harlech Castle by Hugh Hughes. Some partial browning to the free endpapers, and a little quite light spotting to the margins of the title page. Several gatherings uncut at the fore edge and upper edge. A very good copy with the original unprinted tissue protector. Twelve poems including by lengthy nine-part title poem by the Welsh Congregational minister, hymn-writer, and devotional poet (he served as Archdruid of the National Eisteddfod of Wales from 1924-1928). Inscribed by Author(s).
