Paperback. Condition: VG. Very nice clean copy. Perhaps it's because designer Elsebeth Lavold so rarely takes a break herself that she decided to name this collection "Take Five". A creative mind is more or less constantly at work, even during sleep, and The Take Five Collection is undeniably the work of a creative mind. The mood of the collection is casual and relaxed, but the elegance is there, as always. The collection features designs in Silky Tweed, like the feminine cardigan Anne with its unusual leaf pattern (on the front cover), Silky Wool, as in the stunning Frances/Lyn combo, and Angora, exemplified by the man's sweater Ellery here on the back cover. Another example of creative design is Martha, mother/infant combo, where the woman's sweater is designed to be equally wearable during pregnancy and after the baby is born, and the infant's adaptation shares many of the design features with the adult version in shape and pattern. Chances are that your biggest problem will be choosing among the attractive designs in The Take Five Collection the next time you decide to take five, or preferably more, with your needles and yarn. 64 pages.
