Book includes a signed letter from the author, dated August 24th, 1936, on letterhead from the Nova Scotia College of Art, which the author was the principal of. Book condition is G. Text block has… a waviness to it. Text toned around edges. There is some minor text inkbleed/rub in spots throughout, also some embossing of text on reverse side of pages. Otherwise, text and photo plates are bright, clean and clear of writing, markings and highlighting. Hinges tight. Binding fairly tight, but some minor widening in the gutters in spots. Hardcover boards are a bit warped, bowing upwards (most notable on front board). Moderate bumping/dinging along edges of boards; board corners bumped, curling inwards, with fabric ripped and fraying. Inscribed by Author(s).
