Four black-and-white illustrations including a portrait of Charles Dickens, complete. Pages are virtually pristine and intact. Binding is tight. Covers are clean and intact overall but have age toning or discoloration along the spine and a few bumps at the corners and edges. A Near Fine copy. New York University Libraries, Bibliographical Series, No. 3. A list of other publications in the series printed on inside of back cover. J. W. Egerer was Curator of the Fales Library. A pamphlet about materials by Charles Dickens in the Fales Library. The Fales Library was established in 1957 when DeCoursey Fales gave his collection to New York University (NYU). At the time of this publication, the Fales Library or Fales Collection, was a part of the Division of Special Collections at NYU. The Fales Library still exists to this day and is currently known as the Fales Library and Special Collections.
