Bearrs' seven-line ink inscription to a Meridian, Mississippi resident dated 6/9/07 on half-title page with handwriting impression carrying through to the successive title and dedication leaves; Bearrs' home address written in ink on title page by different hand - likely that of the past owner; handwritten ink margin notes found on pages 147 and 196 - no other occurrences readily apparent upon a cursory perusal but may be present; vast majority of leaves are otherwise clean. Binding is firm. Laid-in between 324-325 is color map "Battle of Parker's Crossroads, TN" from a different publication; bookmark from Jackson, Mississippi Lemuria bookstore laid-in between pages 388-389.
