      Condition: Good. 1955. Reprinted. 400 pages. Pictorial jacket over dark cloth. Black and white photographs and line illustrations by Major W. Clough-Taylor and Major-General Victor Fortune. Colour maps. Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Some cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding slightly loose. Boards have moderate shelf wear with some rubbing, fraying and corner bumping. Some moderate staining and tanning. Clipped jacket has moderate edge wear with some small tears, chipping and creasing. Some tanning and foxing to all surfaces, particularly to spine.
