Published in Oswestry Shropshire, this is a nice example of this scarce work, only one copy located on Copac, that is the British Library copy, a series of three lectures on the free Churches, 1/ Why are we Free Churchmen, 2/ The Rise of the Free Churches, 3/ The History of the Free Churches of Oswestry. The book is a presentation copy from the printer to the author of the second lecture, The Rev G. A. Edwards with a presentation inscription to the front endpaper, bound in a full leather binding title in gilt to the upper cover, with marbled endpapers and gilt tooled decoration to inner board edges, 102pp. the binding has some light surface marks, some edge rubbing with mild loss to top of spine, internally mild cracking to inner front hinge, foxing to endpapers, else in very good general condition.…
