Features a selection of commentaries and essays taken from Morgan's daily news radio broadcasts from January 3, 1955 to July 13, 1962. Edward Morgan (1910-1993) worked as a print journalist for two more than decades from 1932 into the early 1950s for United Press International, The Chicago Daily News, and other news media before moving to CBS where he was employed in both radio and television reporter roles. Morgan (1910-1993) shifted to the ABC Radio Network in the mid-1950s and eventually transferred to ABC News television in the early 1960s where he became one of several rotating anchors for The ABC Evening News until retirement in 1975.…
