He had a fascinating life. 457 pages. Navy blue boards with a gold design on the cover and spine. Lots of photographs, and copies of notes from people like Walt Whitman. There are a couple of spots on the cover. There is the darkening to the paper that you would expect. But there's no foxing; the pages are all clean and clear.
