Spine is also faded as is the illustration on the front. The internal binding is good, no hinge cracks at boards but there is pulling in various spots of the text pages, including the title page. There are no signatures or library markings, no scribbling etc. The front end page does show where a price was once penciled in the corner and then later erased, but this is the only handwriting found. Pages are toned due to age and there is a lot of spotting and foxing scattered throughout, which is most noticeable on the end pages and pastedowns. Charles A. Lawrence, James Hall, Grace L.
