Edred John Henry Corner FRS (1906-1996) was an English mycologist and botanist who occupied the posts of assistant director at the Singapore Botanic Gardens (1926-1946) and Professor of Tropical Botany at the University of Cambridge (1965-1973). Corner was a Fellow of Sidney Sussex College from 1959. Paperback has no reading creases in spine, cover is complete with minor wear to edges. 32 pages with 41 illustrations are bound in book, but not included in page numbering. Interior is tight, clean, and, aside from mark beside a reference cited for chapter11, unmarked. Copyright 1964. This copy is from the 1st printing January, 1968 of the Mentor Book paperback edition.
