    Half-Leather. Condition: Very Good. Second Edition Corrected and Enlarged. VG, 2nd ed, 1 map. In green half leather with green marbled boards, a little worn and bumped at edges and corners. Spine has gilt tooling, tile in gilt to red leather label which is a little chipped, edges a little worn. Internally, green endpapers, text block edges marbled blue, bookplate of Henry Granger Earnshaw to fpd, folding map (small repaired tear), titlepage with vignette, ink initial C at head, (ix), 1470, errata and additional errata tipped in, printed by G Nicholson, Stourport, 2 text columns per page, 1st edition was printed in 1808. Title continues: The Cambrian Travellers Guide in every direction containing remarks made during many excursions in the Principality of Wales, and bordering districts, augmented by extracts from the best writers.

Spine, gilt tooling, gilt titles to red calf label. Internally, map frontis, [3], (v-xiii), 1479 pp (2 columns per page-4 pages per leaf), 1 large folding map by S.J. Neele(coloured, with skilled paper repair), woodcut to tp and other small illustrations, evidence of removed bookplate to fpd, text block edges reddened, new endpapers, some light spotting to first few leaves, some light offsetting to a few leaves. 1st edition was in 1808 and with a slightly different title.(8vo, 132*221 mm). Title continues: The Cambrian Travellers Guide in every direction containing remarks made during many excursions in the Principality of Wales, and bordering districts, augmented by extracts from the best writers. Nicholson, printer, whose monument in the churchyard was inscribed: 'The subject of this memorial was a man of strict integrity, expansive mind, devoted to the interests of literature, and a warm advocate of humanity'.
