First Edition
Softcover. Condition: Very Good. Stapled folio leaves typed or mimeographed on rectos only. [2], 3-31pp. Age-toning on front wrap, small tears in margin of last leaf (which has detached), "Harcourt, Brace & Co." written in ink on first leaf, overall very good. The book was compiled and with an introduction by Dame Edith Sitwell. We have not done a detailed comparison of this manuscript to the published version, but aside from this "Preface" being re-styled as an "Introduction" in the published work, and the pagination being different, there appears to be no substantial changes. From the papers of Ezra Pound scholar and bibliographer Professor Donald Gallup (Sitwell references Pound's writing on Swinburne in her foreword in a number of places). Accompanied by a serviceable copy of the first American edition of the book.
