Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. First edition. 135pp. Octavo [23 cm] Olive green cloth over boards. In the dust jacket, with a number of small stains to the lower extremities of the front panel, darkening to the spine, and minor chipping to the edges. There is also a 1" slash to the surface of the front panel. Novelist and poet Ford Madox Ford (1873-1939) promoted "modernism" and gave it a place in his literary magazine, The English Review, in 1909. Ford's poetry has been admired by Robert Duncan, Robert Lowell, Delmore Schwartz, Kenneth Rexroth, and Basil Bunting.
