Frontis and text illustration plates. owner bookplate ( Richard Locke Hanson). Good, text clean, binding secure; hinges not cracked, minimal wear but 1-1/2 inch long by 1/2 inch chip from cloth on spine.

Tilt lettering on spine of blue cloth binding. Brand new front and back endpapers. Top and bottom of spine has very tiny tears repaired. Previous owner's name appears on front endpaper. Otherwise, overall in better than very good condition. Black and white photo of busts of Nietzsche by Karl Donndorf tipped in to page before title page.
