First Edition, First Printing. 6.5 x 10in. 2 Vols. xiv. 500pp.; viii. 510pp. Specially bound in full leather with slipcase by the Montreal Neurological Institute for the neuroscientist Dr. Clinton N. Woolsey on the occasion of his delivery of the 37th Hughling Jackson Memorial Lecture. 4 raised bands on the spine, gilt ruling and titling, and laid-in commemoration page. Both volumes are in VERY GOOD condition in a Very Good slipcase. The books themselves with ever so slight toning of the spines, front boards of each volume somewhat rubbed, otherwise the bindings remain strong and tight, the text-block are clean and completely unmarked, and the boards remain bright and distinct. As pictured.
