Hardcover. "All holy Scriptures are a garden full of the sweetest flowers - a paradise always refreshed with gentle winds and delightful rain." - CHRYSOSTUM. 3-394; 397-796 pp. The covers have two tones of faux leather. Gold gilt is employed for the paper edges, and on the covers for ornamentation, lettering, and pictorial images. There are numerous pages of illustrations, interspersed throughout the text. Volumes I and II. Good condition; interior fading, and browning along perimeters; spotting and foxing on initial pages of both volumes; rubbing and wear to covers, especially along edges of spines; corners are worn and some of the tips are exposed to the board.
