Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. First Edition (First published in 1990). 100 illustrations. As you can see from the photos, the black covers of the book are perfectly clean. There is little to no wear, just a little crinkling at the spine ends. The gilt lettering on the spine is very bright. The edges and corners look perfect. The spine is just slightly slanted forward. The book is very solidly bound from cover to cover, everything being nicely tight. The pages are exceptionally clean. In scrolling through, I didn't see even one instance of soiling. There aren't any creases or dogeared corners. No markings. No attachments. And no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. The dust jacket is in very good condition. Despite there being a good deal of white, it is very clean. There are no tears. There is minor crinkling at the spine ends. There are a few light edge creases and one tiny scuff at the bottom edge of the rear cover. The flaps are in very good condition. The jacket is not clipped. It will be fitted with a protective cover after the photos are scanned. 'Reshaping Russian Architecture examines the development of twentieth-century Russian architecture as it relates to the transformation of the imperial Russia into an industrialized Soviet empire. Edited by William C. Brumfield, the volume also demonstrates how Western notions of style and technology were assimilated on a massive scale to a uniquely Russian vision.'.
