Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 658pg tome offering a history of communism, with dozens of contributors from a variety of world perspectives and time periods. An excellent overall copy. Binding is solid, square, sturdy, tight. Boards are clean and firm, slight bump to the bottom corner of the back b…oard but no other wear of note. Interior is bright and clean and free of marks except for a small, neat, gift inscription on the front free endpaper, which also has a couple of fingerprint smudges. Else interior perfect and appears unread, which makes sense since its from the collection of an eminent marxist scholar who received this as a gift but had probably studied it all quite directly over the years. Dustjacket is mostly clean and attractive, with some light bumping and wear around the edges and with one significant horizontal scratch to the back panel. DJ now in brodart.

Hardcover, 335 pp. Georgia Senator Herman Talmedge's copy with a nice SIGNED inscription from Workman to Talmedge on the front endpaper with a reference to pg. 189 which has some content of interest to the Senator. Additionally this copy is also…SIGNED by Senator Brown and there is an additional inscription to Talmedge from a friend both of which are also on the front endpaper. Some very light foxing to the page edges, still a very good plus copy with clean text (except for a brief underline by the author on pg. 189) and tight binding in a very good dust jacket (sticker shadow on front panel, closed tear at top of front panel, spine darkened and some general soiling). An interesting association copy.
