Pseudonym: Wkrauliczek, Franta; Dichter, geb. 5.6.1801, gest. 24.10.1882 in Prag. Der Sohn eines Hofrats studierte einige Semester Rechtswissenschaften und wurde 1825 Bibliothekar und Archivar des Fürsten Egon von Fürstenberg in Donaueschingen. 1831 lebte E. in Karlsruhe, kehrte im folgenden Jahr in seine Heimatstadt zurück, wurde dort 1848 Hofrat und war 1854-57 Oberverwalter der Fürstenbergischen Güter in Böhmen; 1872 wurde er in den Ritterstand erhoben. Er trat auch als Dichter hervor und veröffentlichte unter dem Einfluß des tschechischen Historikers F. Palacky das Schauspiel "Bretislaw und Jutta" (Aufführung 1829) sowie das Epos "Wlast" (1829), in denen er sich zur kulturellen Gemeinsamkeit von Deutschen und Tschechen bekannte. 1865 erschien die Verserzählung "Eine Magyarenfrau".
