Paperback. Condition: new. Paperback. "History of Morgan's Cavalry" by Basil Wilson Duke offers a comprehensive exploration of Confederate cavalry operations during the American Civil War. As a seminal work in military history and biography, Duke delves into the strategic maneuvers, raiding tactics, and guerrilla warfare employed by Morgan's cavalry in the Southern states, particularly in Kentucky. Through detailed accounts of battles and military campaigns, Duke sheds light on the leadership prowess of Confederate generals, providing insight into their decision-making processes and the challenges they faced against the Union army. The book serves as both a biography of Morgan's cavalry and a testament to the bravery and resilience of Southern soldiers during this tumultuous period.
