Book is tight, square, and unmarked but for F/O name on the FFFP. Book Condition: Good +; faded tint on textblock top; shelfwear to head, tail, and tips. No DJ. Blue cloth boards and spine with green lettering on the…spine; green stag on the front board. Clean internals. Interior hinges are sound and not split 396 pp 8vo. This is a book of 253 poems by some of the best poets in the US who were writing for the newspapers and magazines. The poetry was supposed to be somewhat "suggestive" but by today's standards it is very tame and not ribald at all. It does possess a fine collection of classic prose that serves to teach young people the beauty of rhyme and meter. A clean very presentable copy.
