Well illustrated with sepia photos, portraits, coats of arms etc. Association copy with additions - Handwritten on prelims: "In Remembrance of the writer and of me, with my love B.K.C. March 1924". Tipped in is a letter from Lord Dufferin on mourning paper written to Lady Drogheda regarding the production of special bookplates; a printed offprint titled "The Proprietors of the Manor of Monasterevin in the sixteenth century with handwritten note regarding same; and an original letter addressed to Lady DSogheda dated 1907 from W Le France regarding "Le Compte Moore" (Charles Lord Moore?) and a further letter on mourning paper dated 1900 regarding Lady Drogheda's inquiry of Lord Dufferin as to whetherAlice, Countess of Clanbrassil poisoned her husband.
