      Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Dust Jacket. This old book is clean, solid and in great shape! This is a larger style hardcover book with 260 pages including many photos, illustrations and five fold-outs. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. The first two pages have a short (one-inch) closed tear on the upper edge and the third end paper has some writing that has been blacked out. The pages are otherwise clean. The copyright page shows 1946 as the published date. This is definitely Not a former library book. The gray cloth covers have a red circle and silver ax illustration on the front. The covers show very light soiling. This old book looks and feels great! We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box.
