Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Doctoral dissertation. Dr 'Jan' Steyn was the son of Helgaard Steyn and the nephew of Pres. MT Steyn of the Free State Republic. Born in 1902 he enjoyed a distinguished career as a diplomat, parliamentarian, businessman and farmer. That this was his own copy of his dissertation is indicated by his ex-libris stamp to the front wrap and to the contents page. There are no other markings. 83pp + a map. No discolouration. The wraps are undamaged and clean with just a small nick to the base of the spine. 220 x 150mm. An exceedingly scarce publication.…
